DC:SS is possibly the only game that doesn't have a capture the flag mode. I propose that a capture the flag gamemode be added to multiplayer. Here is how it works. You have a equal number of players on both teams in a predefined dungeon. Each side has 2 runes. In order to win you have to grab another rune from the other side, battle your way through both the enemy players and the monsters down to the orb chamber, grab the orb and battle your way back up too the top and ascend with it. If you do all this, you have won a round and get a temporary damage boost. 3 rounds in a game. 3 games in a match. The way the turn system works. You get a turn every second and you have to either use that turn in that second or just wait and skip it. If you don't do anything for ~30 seconds you fall asleep. Stabbers get a bonus against you when you are asleep, but you heal faster when asleep. Any class, any species, any combo you want. A well balanced team might include stabbers on a team to assassinate sleeping enemies, warpers to get your team to the battlefield faster, crossbow scouts to get into range of the enemy and pick them off, heavy armor fighters to engage the enemy in direct combat, fast fire elementalists to get close to the enemy cast sticky flame and run. If you die, you respawn after ~25 seconds or so, along with teammates killed at a similar time. Runes are carried in your inventory so you can drop them for a faster player to carry.
Reading what I just wrote, I think I might have been playing a little too much Team Fortress 2 recently.
What made you happy today?
