Stone Arrow, Iron Shot and LCS should be stuck in enemies and you should be able to LRD' them.

Also these spells should pin enemies to walls.

Blinking should not place you in harmful fire/ice/poison/chaos/mut. clouds, if it's smart enough to not dumb you over deep water/lava.
I know the reason clouds are okay is because they're not instant death like lava, but it would be more consistent if dangerous clouds were excluded too.

It actually use to be this way:
0.8 Changelog wrote: * Don't prevent blink from putting you in dangerous clouds.

Here's a link the the change log. It's under the "Character" heading http://gitorious.org/crawl/crawl/blobs/stone_soup-0.8/crawl-ref/docs/changelog.txt
IIRC, it was removed because players would direct their blinks by casting cloud spells where they didn't want to go.
On IRC my nick is reaverb. I play online under the name reaver, though.

Re: Generic Brainstorming!

We have lots of attacks that damage HP, a few that damage stats, some that damage hunger or MP.

We need monsters that attack the character name. A random letter has a chance to be deleted on each hit, and it falls onto the screen as an enemy to be defeated. Maybe they could be Kobold Character Assassins? Or advanced centaurs with arrowhead erasers?

If you have no name, you can continue to play, but your game will not be added to the high score screen. Defeating out-of-depth monsters with a short name has a chance of adding, "Borisbane" or "Helliphaunt-slayer" to your name, so you have something to work with.
