What do you play if you want to end a losing streak?

This is interesting. Of all the backgrounds I have tried so far, FE is definitely the hardest.

If I want to win, I'd ty either MiBe or SpEn, both are strong and pretty straightforward.

HOHe is really hilarious, and so is TrHe. If you can't win a three-rune game with one, you need to abandon Crawl and play a shitty Final Fantasy game or something instead.

MiBe is of course a very basic one (though blue dudes said HOBe is even easier), as well as CeHu.

I disagree.
I've won all of the new trunk species except for Gargoyle, and I think FO is better than HO, simply because of free haste whenever you're up against anything dangerous; you can just run away and stair dance.

I would be willing to say that, in terms of difficulty (not quite the same gameplay-wise), FO is the MD. It's a tank with heavy armor, I can just rage-tab, and if I don't do anything stupid, it's an easy win. I'm working on my second serious FO right now as a FOBe, and I'm steamrollin' everything.
