Proposal: warning signs for vaults

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it belongs here. Also, come here if you just need to get hammered.

Proposal: warning signs for vaults

As is well known Crawl is hazardous to a player-character's health. The death rate of characters is shockingly high - casualty percentages that would hardly be tolerated by an army in frontline combat.

In an effort to increase the lifespan of Crawl characters I propose the affixing of warning signs to vaults throughout the dungeon. These signs would be modelled on the familiar black-on-yellow "stickman" signs. Some examples are below; perhaps more fertile minds could come up with more.

"Imps In Area"

"Mermaids Sighted In Waters"

"CENTAUR XING"

"This Territory Known to be Frequented by Prince Ribbit"

"Giant Hazard"

Laughing my ass off right now! :D
It's hilarious! Is there a template/macro for this kind of thing?

Also, where is mandatory "DANGER: Sigmund playground"?

Looks like you found it Curio but in case not: I just ctrl-c'ed the images off this site:

I saw the Fairyland set on a friend's table the other day - not a Crawler - and instantly conceived my bold plan. Furthermore I would like to add that I wish this post and all posts in a similar vein, e.g. the holy untouchable cow, be henceforth known as

CRAWLMEDY

Holy crap, Grimm! You owe me the beer I spilled while nearly laughing myself off my chair!
... and forgive us our YASDs,
As we forgive our developers,
And lead us not into the Abyss,
But deliver us from Sigmund,
For Thine is the Roguelike,
the Orb and the Victory,
now and forever.

Crawlmedy or Crawl-malady? Either way, it's golden.
