the Mercenary card -> unique monster
Been playing the 0.12 beta. Used the Mercenary card for the first time, got a named Tengu. Was that a rare occurrence of getting a unique monster as a permanent ally, or do all the Mercenaries come with names?
Didn't prevent YASD a few turns later... tried to escape a net in Spider when I should've just heal-potted and spammed legendary summons (Nemelexian at max piety with rPois).
