What's the story behind this?

Was quite surprised to see a differently colored tile on Spider's Nest. Took a time to figure out that this layout was that of the Orc Mines.

So...did a band of orcs dug really deep to mine and discovered the Spider's Nest?

Yep. Turned out pretty badly. Walled off the whole place and wrote it off.

I've seen the other end of that in the Orcish Mines. I never suspected there was an analogue in the Spiders' Nest.

Sadly, there's no way to guarantee that if you get one end in the Mines, you get the other in the Nest.

Play a HOPr to get the Total War experience, although in practice it ends up being more like Pikmin.
