What do the names under people's usernames mean? I think I've gone from "temple tourist" to "mine marauder" to "hive hopper".

And what do the colors of the names mean?

blue=counselor
orange= dev team?
green = ??

The description under the username just depends on how many posts you have.

green = forum admin/moderator.

Let's not miss the point that the titles are approximately in difficulty order of the branches.

So Hive Hopper should just be removed and the other nearby titles have their post counts adjusted to make more sense as a progression.

Extended branches could certainly be added post-Zot. I would vote for keeping the hells as separate branches:
