I had to look up Coconut Effect. I think Crawl in its entirety is one long concatenation of Coconut Effects. (see: Mountain Dwarves)

I don't understand this.

IIRC syllogism told me it was available if you selected random combo or random background or something (this was ages ago, like Stone Soup .3 or something), but I'm not sure anymore.

My favorite was one in Nethack, where someone exploited a bug to duplicate gold, got so much gold that the gold variable flipped over into negative numbers, meaning he had something like minus two billion gold. Since gold has weight in Nethack, this completely fucked up the weight calculations, giving him negative weight, he could carry literally every single thing he found. His bag of holding had 45 pages of stuff and he was wielding a boulder.

Argh, I forget which stories I've already told on which forums.

A niche shaped like a central server for all one's anecdotes so that instead of tiresomely writing out forum posts you can just type in a short code and have people sent to the stored story. If they've already read it a notice will pop up informing them of that fact. Lots of time will be saved, for everyone.
