Because sometimes all it needs is one's imagination to kick off the panic button. I cringe every time I enter 'butchered minotaurs' vault. Blood everywhere, bacon lying around, and then there's two minotaur corpses lying around. A true scene of carnage.

I'd imagine something very terrible with a murderous intent violently hacking off those poor minotaurs piece by piece.

Though it's nice to pick up six bacon. Yummy!

That's one of my favorite vaults. I like making vaults that suggest to the player that something horrific happened in the recent past (or occasionally, vaults in which something horrific happens right in front of the player) because of the minotaur butcher vault.

Which one do you mean? I know sgrunt did a few vaults a while back with a lot of humanoids catching fire and turning into flaming corpses, which is awesome. I need to start trying Lua stuff.

This is an early altar vault, big square with glass walls and doors on each side, some permanent fire clouds, bunch of generic humans, elves, dwarves (I think) running around on fire. They die quickly but don't turn into anything.
