I didnt even know that was possible. How does it decide the enchantment level for blue/white gear? I'm willing to bet its a Gaussian curve and you got lucky as heck.

There's actually a series of learndb entries with things like this:

You either got very lucky or very unlucky, depending on your perspective.

(iirc these highly-enchanted clubs exist to keep players on their toes against early uniques; that could just be a side effect, though)

There seems to have been some change in 0.11 'cause I've seen a million OOD monsters in extremely early levels (D:4 Hippogryph on another MuCK later on)...

Ijyb can easily do more than 6 damage with an unbranded +0/+0 club, so I don't see what the problem is
