Blood can't sublimate.
Quoting from Wikipedia,
"Sublimation is the process of transition of a substance from the solid phase to the gas phase without passing through an intermediate liquid phase."
The real question is, what is magic? Gas, liquid, solid, plasma, or something else entirely? Blood definitely can't sublimate (setting aside dried blood) but what phase change is it even undergoing?
And can we think of a replacement name for sublimation of blood?
