Hilarious God Gifts

Okay, Okawaru just gifted me his first artifact weapon of the game, a falchion of orc slaying.

When did he give it to me? Immediately upon killing the last orc as I was leaving the orcish mines after clearing it.

The icing on the cake is that it's enchantment is -2, -6. Weee! Somehow I don't think I'll be hanging onto it, even for its other properties (rC+ SInv).

Thanks Okawaru. I'm removing my amulet of faith...

Trog gave me a long sword of orc slaying once, pretty much after I had cleared almost the entire Mines as well. I think those two might be in cahoots with each other.

I've got a KoCK of Xom going right now- hilarious god gifts are pretty much the point. My favorite so far- "Xom's Papyrus of @player_death@ {god gift}". If that's not meant to be a threat, I don't know what is.

Runner up- the humble choko and bread ration god gifts... that are inedible.

Okawaru apparently noticed that my horns mutation prevented me from wearing proper helmets so he thoughtfully gifted me a ... -1 cap. Everybody's a comedian. On the other hand, he also gave me the +2, +9 ankus "Orb Guardian's Doom" {pierce, rElec, Str +1}

Okawarau gifted me a sabre called "Killer Bee's Regret" after slaying the Queen Bee in the Hive once. Unfortunately it didn't have Bee Slaying, but I suppose Vorpal is close enough. Keeping with the theme, I later found another sabre called "Killer Klown's Regret" in Zot on the same character.
