Has anyone else here tried out Brogue?

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it belongs here. Also, come here if you just need to get hammered.

Has anyone else here tried out Brogue?

Without a doubt, the most fun I've had since discovering Crawl five years ago. I defy any Crawl player to try it for an hour or two and not fall in love.

It's like an arcade version of Crawl.

On the surface, it's ridiculously simple - but the more you play, the more you can see that it's a deep, thoughtfully made, and brilliant game.

I had downloaded it just before my computer died. I've just reinstalled it on the new one.

It's superb.
I am sure I played flawflessly. This was an utmost unfair death. -- gorbeh

I discovered it some time ago because it uses the libtcod-library...

BTW, there's a link to brogue on the DC:SS page, section Other Roguelikes
