POLL: Evocable Berserk

Yes, at last, I make a serious poll.

So, ladies (as if) and gentlemen, I've been wondering:

Do you find your self (ab)using Berserk through Evocations (items with +Berserk)?

I myself never berserk unless I worship Trog (except for quaffing pots of Berserk when the situation requires it), and I'm curious about the rest of you.

This doesn't include berserking through items with *Berserk as that's unreliable and pretty much unwanted.

I wouldn't say I abuse it, but it's certainly a good way to get out of some tight situations, if you're fortunate enough to find it. If you run out of MP on the last Blink Frog and a Death Yak comes around the corner, it probably makes more sense to fire up Berserk than to hope a random teleport ends up somewhere safe.

Later when you have found all your escape spells, it makes a lot less sense.

I almost never use berserk. I prefer playing fragile spellcasters and berserk doesn't fall into that category. I do use !berserk rage when the need arises. By the time I have artifacts I generally don't need berserk.

I use evokable berserk quite a lot.

I assume this includes using an amulet of rage, which is not an artifact and can be an early find. Although don't do what my first MDFi did recently and try:
Heroism+Finesse=awesome, so Heroism+Finesse+Berserk=more awesome??? no, =YASD.
