Favourite character type!

Being bored, so... Here's a rather casual poll. To be honest, I'm a little curious about the tastes of my fellow forum dwellers on the matter.

My personal favourite is the first one at the moment, but I have a thing for transmuters and if/when permabuffs are ever made I'll play them to my heart's content.

I went with the last. I don't really have a playstyle preference beyond "anything my last character wasn't".

Does anybody else ever have one of those days where they just do a string of Random Characters?

Kick down the door and don't leave until all the dudes are dead, whether I'm beating them up with spells or swords. I fit the first, second, and last categories (MuBe, anyone?); I'm happy as long as I am the toughest guy in the dungeon.

I actually like combat wombats the most - load up on armour, get a big hurty weapon of choice, and run around whacking things with it.

Unfortunately, looking at my score file, I'm much better at casters!

I see your TrMo and raise you a Mf** of Makhleb.

Seriously, merfolk are incredible for tabbing; Makhleb too. You get very strong reaching weapons early (polearms are common as dirt and +4 apt is beyond insane), you have much better defenses than trolls do, and Makhleb gives health for every kill. I tabbed a D:16 shadow dragon with my recent MfWn of Makhleb.

Actually British English is the only language I'm allowed to select. It seems to be the standard for the forum. Plus DC:SS uses British English.

Centaur/Yaktaur packs aren't all that scary with Cheibriados, unless you really hate armour, dodging, shields and even invocations all at the same time.

Not that early centaur packs won't kill your early Cheiguy, though.

Long story short, the new armour encumbrance system and doubled effect of stats on weapon damage sure feels good.
