A question about unarmed combat.

Hm.. I am playing 0.10 ( 11-08 )version right now, as sludge elf/Transmuter.

When I read the enchant scroll( red/green one), my character's hand went briefly green or red.

Is there any effect??

From the wiki:

These three scrolls all enchant a wielded weapon or missile to be more effective in combat, and uncurse it if it is cursed. They will all fail if no weapon is wielded

What v said. It's just letting you know that it's an Enchant Weapon X scroll.
