The Montreal street value of a pound of kedgeree is rumoured to be astronomical.

Yeah, it's sad. I had a kedgeree addict friend who was busted trying to cross the border with a kilo and a half of kedgeree in her underwear. Damn kedgeree sniffing beagles.

Please don't go off-topic here. Kedgeree is a serious social problem in parts of Canada. Please use Crazy Yiuf's Corner for flippant stuff like this.

I beg to differ. Kedgeree is a mere shibboleth.

Actually they are still required on lateen-rigged poutines.

Is not the square-rigged poutine favoured yet, on account of its greater speed when running before the wind?

I have to agree with CI. I see the square-rigged poutine rather more than the lateen-rigged poutine. Of course the fore-and-aft rigged poutine is more common still.

I must defer to the greater familiarity with poutines, yatches and kedgerees of both of y'all.

If you want to smuggle gourmet foodstuffs, I hear the street value of a pound of excellent organic sauerkraut in Burlington VT is about 6.50 U.S. dollars.

>look
You see a cavern hewn from rock. It is full of orcs and gold.
>kill orcs
You kill all the orcs in a whirlwind of spellcasting and melee. Corpses now litter the cavern.
>butch corpses
You cut all of the corpses up into chunks of somewhat edible meat.
>get gold
You pick up all the piles of gold. Mysteriously, your bag grows no heavier.

Congratulations! You have just vanquished a dragon with your bare hands! (Unbelievable, isn't it?)
The hero of Colossal Cave was clearly a Crawl monk with 27 UC.
