I think I did this original vault, but the chokos or random item idea comes surely from dpeg's tuning

Alright. Hop onto D:6, whole place is crawling with ogres and orc warriors. get chased down to D:7 by an OOD troll. Come back up and THIS happens.

My opinion? Worst D:6 ever.

...and one scroll of fog or blinking gets you out of there quite handily. Or even teleport if the oklob isn't too quick on the draw. (Although, not seeing your HP there and knowing that a troll chased you up the stairs probably means you don't want to chance that.)

Actually, unless I'm mistaken, the plant is blocking the oklob's line of fire. Escaping is easy; the knowledge that it exists in the first place is the annoying part.

I just had this happen as well. There were multiple (3?) sleeping spores on the level, the individual colonies didn't go away until I'd killed them all. Not sure if this is a bug, but it was surprising.

Found a charming two room lakeside bungalow on L:2 and moved right in after I discovered the former owner was...indisposed.

With a well-stocked kitchenette and mossy stone floors, it's just the right size for stashing gear and relaxing between sorties. I even had a gravel path put in.

Found this really nasty Orc entrance vault on D:6. It was a large rectangular room, containing lots of orcs - duh, a bit of food, about ten potions, and a swamp drake.

Nilsyn found out an interesting way of dealing with frogs.

  Code:

 You kill the giant frog!
 You have reached level 7!

That reminds me of some guy who purposefully casted controlled blink in heavy armour so the miscasts would banish him.

I discovered a very strange thing. Slime creatures who come up a staircase onto a teleport trap do not teleport. Here are two consecutive turns, showing that I actually hit and wounded the slime creature while he was on the trap.

Image

There was a gang of ogres downstairs. I tried leading them upstairs several times to see if they would tele but they never came up onto the trap.

Once you're on the trap, it won't trigger again unless you step off (usually via being teleported). So, the bug is it not triggering when the slime creature "stepped" on it.
