In this thread we discuss forks and their many MANY choices that can be good or can be bad but are nevertheless freed from the tyrannous, patronizing yoke of consistent development. Once upon a time one could only dream of beauty like that.

I would just like to say that Bloatcrawl is absolutely incredible with all the special species and backgrounds, although hermit crabs' shell system seems to be bugged.

also how does one remove the ridiculous uncapped spellpower from circus animals to truly enjoy the best fork

You'd have to reintroduce stepdown_spellpower (in spl-cast) and spell_power_cap (in spl-util) and then define spellpower caps for every spell. Not sure how much work that would be, probably depends on whether or not jeremygurr actually changed spell definitions to not have power caps as part of the structure or just overrode them somewhere. Gotta admit that 1400 damage fireball was a really funny thing to experience once though.

Thanks, I was ok with shock hitting for 80 damage, but chained lightning at unreasonable spellpower triggers oneshot protection in two bounces (lol who has this on), leads to 120 messages of spam vs immune targets and scrubs anything else off the screen no matter distance or positioning.

Might as well steal best WJC (hellcrawl's with walking for acrobatics and -25 AC) while at it.
