Hi everyone, played for years now, just made an account here cause I deleted my Reddit account the other day cause I was spending a categorically unhealthy amount of time on that website.

Thought I'd start off with kind of a fun off-topic thread. I like to listen music while I play games that don't have their own BGM, but if I can I try to keep it thematic. What do you guys like to listen to (if anything) while you're crawling?

For some reason I think that this song fits crawl really well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LY3ftiLqmE It's kind of archetypal dungeon synth, really ominous and unsettling but beautiful at the same time.

Another favorite of mine for playing crawl and other roguelikes is the Daggerfall OST.

I tend to put on a long compilation of metal, usually go for melodic sound. Fields of Nephilim, Memories of a time to come, stuff like that.

@Siegurt it was only a matter of time for yakety_sax to appear in this thread, you should post a screenshot to go with it. Something like Xom summoning a Sentinel in D:6
