They don't give xp or piety, and gold is gozag's piety, so... probably not a bug. It would be better if they dropped gold tho

I leave them alive and come back to murder them for chunks. Works best with gourmand amulet.

But that could save you a grand on food shops.

I've had gozag games where I had to buy a food shop as soon as I saved up the 800 bucks.

But if someone is not trying to kill me, I leave them alive. And it's probably not worth backtracking to far for chunks.
