Roulette of Golubria should be accessible from Abyss

Roulette of Golubria, a WizLab that is themed around the Abyss, should be accessible from the Abyss. Would be a neat, flavorful thing, that would also make that particular wizlab a little weirder (which is good).

Something like 1/20 of exits out from Abyss: 3 should re-roll into this wizlab portal, 1/15 of exits out from Abyss: 4, and 1/12 of exits out from Abyss: 5.

Scumming Abyss is like pudding farming in that the punishment is the act itself.

So they actually removed pudding farming in NetHack, and "too tedious to be worthwhile for optimal play in a game with permanent death" rarely exists in actuality (see: all manner of degenerate gameplay across various roguelikes). Regardless, the argument that it's already tedious does not support the idea that we ought to add features to make it more appealing. Good game design discourages the tedious but optimal.

Not that I feel abyss scumming is optimal. I just think the infinite, farmable nature of it feels wildly out of place in a game which has otherwise moved towards limiting resources.

Honestly, I'm not sure why we haven't removed items (save for perhaps abyss vaults or something) and monster exp from Abyss already.

I've occasionally been happy with some of the items I've found lying around the abyss, mundane and otherwise. It's variety (and more occasionally, at least short-term useful for a desperate banished character), it's something to take along and use (consumables especially) and I wouldn't want them all to just go away.

Of course, if you're going to the Abyss only for specific purposes (aside from escaping) then it's all probably more white noise to you but that's your mileage.

You're right, it is my mileage that I feel like not going to the Abyss in the first place is luckier than finding random shit on the ground in the Abyss when I end up there.

My mileage and the way it clearly, wildly, and drastically varies from yours isn't what I was talking about whatsoever, though.
