Stairway bug crash (passing pout)

I had a rather interesting game get eaten by the "uanble to open file" bug on a stairway the other day... Just gone. It was around D:10 so I couldn't even put a code to identify the game. Didn't find it in the morgue at all, probably never saved before it happened. I was zipping along enjoying finally coming up with a red draconian with some promising books. Pouts.

Yes, I filed a ticket. Doubt there's anything for it though. Apparently this bug has been around for some time and no fix was found for it before. Mood: rather sullen.

It's frustrating when stuff totally vanishes well into the Dungeon, though yes there are other games to finish.

Omg, the game has been rescued!! At least, I assume someone had to recover it. It's up again now.

Now all my draconian wanderers can die normally again (or maybe even escape sometimes). Wheeeee. I really hadn't expected that one to be fixable.
