I wonder...how does the gods in Crawl look like?
So far, we only know how Slime God looks like, since it can be encountered.
For example, I believe that Kiku looks somewhat like this:

The Royal Jelly isn't Jiyva. It's the only worshipper of Jiyva, unless the player chooses to also worship. Bit of a difference.
Still, I imagine TRJ is not far off from Jiyva's appearance. And that's a good look for Kiku.

Tiamat is so kind as to show herself.
I had never noticed that as a Jivvy-man you can spawn jellies like TRJ, albeit on a smaller scale.

Tiamat isn't a god, though?

Anyways:
"The earthly avatar of Tiamat, deity of dragonkind, here incarnated as a mighty draconian warrior. Her scales seem to shimmer and change colour as you watch."

While it seems inconceivable that the divine could be shackled, Ashenzari is just that: bound to the sky for eternity, the unbudging god is all-knowing, all-seeing.

You can tell Sif's no common human being, because I own that book about Kandinsky she's after, and I can tell you, there's no way to handle that thing with just one hand.

Duvessa wants it to go back to the subreddit it came from because she is a subscriber to it and it's her favorite picture, so she upvotes it whenever it's reposted. To be fair though, the cat ones are better. Okawaru cat has some sweet armor.

the first is because of how jontron went on a debate stream and basically revealed that he's a white supremacist(and beogh is the "racist" god(putting that in-quotes because referring to crawl species as "races" still makes no sense to me))

They look like player character.
Gods are shapeless and use their most devout followers as avatars. This relationship is similar to that between Jesus and Yahweh, or Dalai Lama and Avalokitesvara, or contemporary Shinto priests and their deities. If there are no avatars, worshipers simply picture their gods based on people they see around and can relate to, like this:
