Do Oka and Acquirement Ignore 2H Formicids?

I just had a game with a Formicid in which Oka kept gifting me artifact double swords or long swords, but only gave me a single greatsword very early. Scrolls also weren't too good. Do gifts and acquirement look for shield skill, but ignore formicid 2h wielding?

no, formicids's weapon acquirements assume Fo's shield skill is always zero so that it's weighted toward 2h weapons
