Simplify it: Make it ring of Marking. It's not like remove curse is rare enough that you're going to have it for long anyway.

Can't cursed rings appear on d:1? You'd be pretty screwed if you got ganged up on by the whole floor constantly in the early game a.k.a. the hardest part of the game.

Ring of Wailing, occasionally causing a blaring wail.

serious question: is there any situation in which you want to wear a ring of stealth (generic) over some other ring in your inventory? I can't think of many plausible scenarios. i think both stealth and loudness rings should be removed.

i hate stealth but even i acknowledge that wearing a ring of stealth while exploring is more useful than wearing some resistance ring while exploring

I wear the ring with most stabbers i.e. when I can one-shot things with dagger and am not "one-shoted" if monster notices me. I remember one game where I found 2 such rings early, I switched to stabbing, it was fun and powerful.

I wore a ring of loudness long term as a Felid of Ashenzari once, because it didn't hurt my stealth TOO much and I found it cursed so it helped with piety gain and magical boosts before I had enough ?Remove Curse to swap to better stuff and curse it...

That said, no not really the effects of the two items is pretty negligible outside of early game. I -do- pick ShDA over StDA for the Stealth++++ though...that's actually a reasonably helpful effect (and 4 times the boost the ring gives).
