dungeonmans has Champion potions which boost all damage(and lower all damage taken), which seems like an ok 'generic' name to me if it's to go that route

just replace them with a potion of quad damage

that way you don't even have to add a new item or anything

To be clear, the second sentence (that this is a good proposal) was totally earnest. Probably should have been in GDD really.

You know I pretty much agree, the multiple potions mostly only stand to take multiple turns to drink in a serious serious situation...and, you know, that one of them is useless to some characters (Might for "pure" casters [Conjurers, mostly] and Brilliance for "pure" melee dudes [Troglodytes and Fighters, mostly]).

I wouldn't mind this, but if it happens, the final potion should have a significantly lower item generation than the 3 potions combined - so make sure to not just roll all three's drop rates into one.

Hill orcs. Of course, once they're gone you either have to open up beogh to everyone, or remove beogh, so this might be a 2-1 double whammy bonus removal.
