Lightning bolt

I agree. The chance to hit should depend on spell power only. Something like 30% at spell power 0 -> 90% at max spell power.

It's also extremely unintuitive that a lightning bolt bounces off walls and vanishes, instead of discharging into something

also lmao @ the implication that it's reasonable to evade a crossbow bolt/longbow arrow after it's been fired

well, the earth has a -infinity EV penalty due to its size

If you played enough skyrim you know the problem is not evading lightning bolts, it is aiming them.

Maybe at point blank range... Otherwise, there's anticipation and stuff like moving targets, distraction (aim generally yes) to take into account.

Who knows, maybe even level 27 Bows doesn't mean you have shot hundreds of hydra heads to know just what you're looking to hit, either.
