Merge Charms + Hexes to Enchantments

After separation Charms have been cut their arms and legs over and over again
so merging them back with Hexes could be a good solution.

This used to be a thing, but giving people access to things like discord because they trained for Deaths Door is not a good idea.
I'm with tasonir on this one.

I trained Discord in exactly one game, cast it in Vaults 5, and died hilariously.

You guys are using really terrible examples for both charms and hexes since by the time you can cast DDoor or disco party you probably have enough experience to win the game any number of ways. A better comparison is do you want something like an En to be able to cast Rmsl and Ozo's for free while powering up their hexes. I don't really think Hexes needs all that much of a power boost.

That said, I'm sympathetic to arguments that Charms has lost a lot of it's desirability with the removal of Haste. With almost every Charms spell in the game you will get much greater benefit from just training the spell's other school. This was already the case before Haste's removal, but Haste was desirable enough to make you want to train Charms. There are just not enough desirable midrange Charms spells to make Charms skill desirable in most normal games.

I'd prefer merging charms and air if any merger was done.

Or just actually fleshing out the charms school again/bringing magic as a whole up to par with necromancy/fire.

Charms going into air would actually be pretty cool. I can't think of a charm that fails to work with that.

Why not? They're still mediocre even if they merge and Hex spells would finally be a viable option for once instead of being a blatant waste of exp; It's a win-win situation for both Charms and Hexes.

Warping the Air into spells, Crystalizing the ice, air twisting to heal your wounds, air making another weapon, why isn't ring of flames an air spell already.

I admit that Excruciating and Ddoor would not be air, but those could just be pure necro.
