On the other side of airstrike doing extra damage to flying, how about shatter doing less?
Ok, I get it, flying things being resistant to shatter has some thematic appeal, but does it really make for good gameplay? Why do we want gargoyles to be instantly killed by jorgun, unless they have flying, in which case they literally take 1/6 the damage? (because gargoyle doubles it, and flying cuts it by 1/3, and if you're a flying gargoyle you don't get the gargoyle penalty as well). This is my understanding of it from about a year ago at least, I don't think it's changed since then...
P.S. don't touch my felids
