Praise for trunk wand changes

Getting rid of the best wands is nice, and has affected my play in positive ways.
I now look on wands as a ranged offensive option, and consider training evo if I find a couple of decent ones early. I know I won't be saving recharging scrolls for hasting, which was previously the no-brainer option for characters that could use haste.
Deep dwarves' healing ability is a lot more elegant than wand charging was, and I'm much more likely to use it. For whatever reason, giving up a permanent MP to recharge the wand was something I agonised unnecessarily over - I think because it was indirect - whereas risking one for a good heal as necessary is more straightforward.
So cheers for that.
