Dungeon Crawl - Delete Soup

Removed heal wounds wand and teleport wand?
Then I'm going to remove DCSS from my computer

Seriously, what were they thinking?
It's not even 'stone soup', they are just scooping stones from tasty soup.

idk about you but if my soup had fucking stones in it i would definitely scoop them out before eating it

People regularly win characters who sacrificed evocations so this is not a very serious problem IMHO.
I hope the change will result in more interesting game, practically unlimited resetting of fights was boring.

So next they get rid of potions of heal wound and scrolls or teleport? I always have a ton of those and rarely wands of heal or teleport. I reset tons of fights with scrolls.

Idea: Remove all potions and Wands. Replace with rods that have same effects but recharge slow or use a lot of your mana.

Wasn't that partly the point of removal? Players usually have scrolls/potions so it's redundant to have other consumables which just duplicate those effects, especially since those consumables were easily renewable and steered players towards acquiring wands more than anything else. If the lack of healing/teleportation becomes truly unbalancing, one can simply increase generation of potions and scrolls, but either way it's much "cleaner" to not have multiple sources of the same effect.
