It's a fair point, but posted with such laden sarcasm I'm not sure what you hoped to achieve. Do you think this thread will encourage a dev to improve the situation?

You seem to imply that any bit of sarcasm detracts from productive communication.
Admittedly, sarcasm is often used to avoid establishing any concrete point, so you can't be challenged on anything specific.
However, OP is clear and committed, and carries the point across well, with brevity and humor.
It's not like persuasion can only occur when we have our *serious face* on.
I felt overall positive about new Zot rules until I read OP.
