I now admit stealth is good

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it belongs here. Also, come here if you just need to get hammered.

I guess it's time to enter Shoals, it cannot be worse than this.

That's Nikola and Rupert, and he's standing on the exit on the first floor of Spider.

The ghost thing is his Knight ancestor via Hep, and his weapon of choice is a spear with no shield for some reason (prob. lack of anything better).

Re: I now admit stealth is good

I'm a merfolk and I found a distortion mace on like D:2. I just dropped it and my polearms was still low so I was using a +8 elec artifact spear, although I have now upgraded to a glaive.

I did enter shoals, being a merfolk with ice beasts and rMissile has helped ginormously. Killing enemies a few at a time has been ok, I wont ever need to fight a big group will I?

Edit: now that I think about it, if I had gotten abyssed by that mace with like 4 polearm skill I would have had to re-equip it to survive the abyss...

Oh yeah, you'll be fine. Just make sure you focus Rupert first. Nikola hits like a wet noodle and Rupert doesn't have any HP to take abuse.
If you are offended by something I've posted, just PM me. It probably wasn't intentional.
