Enemies should drop chunks!

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it belongs here. Also, come here if you just need to get hammered.

Enemies should drop chunks!

With the recent commit dragons drop armour pieces instead of corpses that should be butchered for hides and then hides should be enchanted.
This is a good change that removes unnecesary actions and leaves you more ?EAs.
Another good change would be remove `butcher\drain for blood` command and let enemies drop chunks and corpses (blood if you are a vampire).
Corpses should be kept for necromancy and torment ability.
Kiku's delivery will deliver chunks along with corpses or we can brainstorm the idea of corpse delivery as a food supply.

I am 99% sure this idea was discussed before, but I think that the time to implement it has come!

Re: Enemies should drop chunks!

Instead of enemies dropping chunks, why not just to make corpses immediately edible (no butchering) and stop carrying chunks around? An eaten corpse then leaves a skeleton.

Chopping and similar might be left for special cases like vampires (and maybe ghouls?).

It would also take away a (now minor) stress factor from the inventory.

Exploding shots might still create edible chunks with lesser satiation than a corpse, and animate dead could turn these into crawling corpses.

I haven't seen this before, and it's very reasonable. (I guess it didn't come up before, or I didn't note, because everyone is looking for "big" solutions on food, and this proposal "just" solves the interface problem.)

Agreed with second poster that this should be in GDD. Will bring this up on ##crawl-dev right away.
