Changes

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it belongs here. Also, come here if you just need to get hammered.

Changes

Haste change ( not a fan ) got me thinking of other changes. Invis availability, rmut, enslavement spell, mass confusion. Hexes getting hit here.

Feels like a nerf to mediocre players ( I'll elevate myself to that rank ). Top players will just win with a hammer or level 9. Bottom mibe's may not notice.

Crying off.

Re: Changes

Well, those changes don't affect the hardest part of crawl. Hopefully middle/late game will be closer to early game some day.

Re: Changes

Hopefully not too close, I like winning from time to time.

Re: Changes

I'd like to see a crawl someday with a sane difficulty curve, instead of one that generally goes backward with random weird spikes here and there. Why do we want to kill characters who just started with no investment in them, but don't want to kill characters with a full toolset?

But I'm probably in a tiny minority with that sentiment.

Nah, im with it. Dying in the early game is like "meh i wasnt really trying yet"

Dying late game? Rollercoaster of emotions that eventually ends in newfound appreciation for the game, its depth, and its dangers.
