If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it belongs here. Also, come here if you just need to get hammered.

Thanks, I have one
People who voted for removing blinking monsters should get good.
Blinking monsters are among the best designed monsters because they make player stop mindless tabbing and luring to corridors. We need to have more monsters like this: Orb of Fire, Ancient Lich, Centaur Warrior etc.

lethediver wrote:Maybe blinking monsters should git gud. Right now they are more of an interface hassle than anything else. The only dangerous ones are blink frogs since they both blink, and are fast enough to still catch up to you after they stupidly blink away from you. But even then, their blinking lets you stairdance them with laughable ease.
If there was a blinking monster that had...like... Fulminant prism, and was actually dangerous, i might be in favor of them.

You are the head of a non-profit Dev team that has institutionalised speciesm. Even if you aren't actively putting us down you are part of the problem. DLM will continue to riot in CYC until we get our reparations

I hope you mean second meaning from http://www.thefreedictionary.com/headless, not the third one

As well as faith, I actually use ID scrolls for all amulets until I found both of them and it's a huge waste

VeryAngryFelid wrote:Mara is in the same category. This is interesting IMHO, you can try killing one of them (unless you have cleaving) or flee to reset the fight. They have ranged attack so resetting the fight is not exactly easy and it is good IMHO.

I read children instead of chicken and I was like, "uh, I didn't know they do that."
