Make all non-randart books pre-ided + apply fixed tiles

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it belongs here. Also, come here if you just need to get hammered.

Make all non-randart books pre-ided + apply fixed tiles

For example, let's see in-game description of the Book of Death.

"A manuscript containing dark spells of Necromancy. Each page is filled with
grotesque art depicting scenes of disgusting decay."

OK.. but I cannot see anything about "grotesque art depicting scenes of disgusting decay" on the tile of the Book of Death.

All books are now automatically identified when you step upon it, so there is no good reason to keep them with having random tiles varying with each game.
So, let's apply adequate, fixed tiles to each non-randart books and make them automatically pre-identified.
Current tileset for books is just random, which seems weird.

doesn't this imply that the reason for not having fixed tiles is so that we don't have to pre-id books?

also, if we really wanted fixed tiles, we could just change the tile when the book is ID'd, similarly to how potions and wands work.

third and most important question: why are you complaining that the tile, which only shows the outside of the book, doesn't show the pages inside the book

The outside of the book should also show grotesque art depicting scenes of disgusting decay, obviously.

The proposal I could take or leave, but tile appearance is never a reason to change gameplay. If there's some sort of dissonance (which I don't agree there is) then the tiles should change, not the other way around.
