Did you funny play Elyvilon?

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it belongs here. Also, come here if you just need to get hammered.

Did you funny play Elyvilon?

I asked several times.
Is Ely is strong?
You always said the same thing. He(She) is strong.
I will change the question. Did you funny play Ely?
Find all looked games.
most people are not followers of Elyvilon.

What are the criteria to change god?
Do you advocate that the play Ely is fun?
If so, why people do not play the Ely? ;)

Absolutely.

e: More seriously, why don't I play Ely? Truthfully, I do, but I don't like to play a full game with Elyvilon because I expect a more holistic gaming experience from gods than merely making it impossible for me to die.

Re: Did you funny play Elyvilon?

I've said before I don't think Ely is fun, but do think they're decently strong. I've posted about Ely's design issues, here, and I think they're known in general, but I don't think they're gonna change very soon.

I don't think MODERN Ely is that good. Pre-reform Ely was broken/borderline broken (back with lesser healing other was free), current Ely...times I've tried to use it, I found that Piety Gain was too slow to make good use of it.
I'm beginning to feel like a Cat God! Felid streaks: {FeVM^Sif Muna, FeWn^Dithmenos, FeAr^Pakellas}, {FeEE^Ashenzari, FeEn^Gozag, FeNe^Sif Muna, FeAE^Vehumet...(ongoing)}

Re: Did you funny play Elyvilon?

I enjoy playing Elyvilon, and will often pick her if her altar comes up first on a primarily melee start. Smite monster removal is very powerful, and I can use it often enough that I can waste some piety getting rid of monsters that are less-enjoyable to fight as well as the ones that are actually potentially dangerous. Unlike evocations, throwing, or launchers, she gives me a ranged option for a melee build that doesn't require me to spend more time with inventory management. She also doesn't give me any permanent pets to coddle around, which is important.

I feel like that should be a new variant of dungeon crawl/ Dungeon Crawl Pet Coddling (DCPC) Opens up pet feeding, training, and you can morph your pets into higher versions of themselves, also you can participate in very important pet battles between you and the Evil Orb of Zot's Pets.

Does anyone else suspect the Orb of Zot is secretly a Poke-ball?

Because I really liked pre-change Elyvilion, and hate kill-everything-just-like-every-other-God-yawn current Elyvilion.
