You'll find here and here the 2 morgues of the only Unlucky titles winners (Nemelex penance).

On the footv of the first one, you'll see that he made Nemelex angry by throwing a deck in lava... Very bad :twisted:

I guess the other one does the same, I was too lazy to find the exact moment in his Abyss trip...

You'll notice they played 0.13 and 0.12 games... So I built a 0.13 GrFi of Oka (for Invoc), abandoned him, sacced a bunch of items, throw a deck in deep water... No effect

looked for some lava, throw another deck, Nemelex is still happy...

Anyway, instead of making another 0.12 char, I tried a 0.12 sprint and did the same, Nemelex approves me destroying decks...

Is this title gone forever ?

Not having a religion gives you one of Unbeliever, Agnostic, Dissident, Heretic, or Apostate depending on how high your Invocations skill is. Abandoning Nemelex and rejoining removes wrath, so no, it does not look like the title is available anymore.

Did every god have a penance title? I've never seen them in any title list before, even the old ones with all the jokey titles linley made

But I don't get what was changed in old versions ?? The 2 example I quoted show it used to be possible...

That Qazlal's apostate title is "Unspoiled" speaks volumes about how you have to play that god.

There must be some change were gods stopped caring about item destruction. I don't see why that would affect old versions though.

Playing some oldies, I noticed some "recent" changes that seemed to affect old versions. I'll make a thread about it, but I'm pretty sure that 0.12 had 8 vaults level (now 5) and only one Abyss floor (now 5)...

Were you playing online or downloading the old versions? It might just be the webtiles server messing things up.

Were you playing online or downloading the old versions? It might just be the webtiles server messing things up.

No; deck destruction giving penance was in the game for just about one month, and never landed in a stable version.

comborobin won with all the top tier titles that were available at the time (skill 27, god titles, plus the few corner cases Iike Ogre Mage, but not all the possible @Foo@ values). I think someone got the top Pak title later, but I'm not sure about Hep and Usk.

Winning with the bottom tier skill titles seems nuts: you'd need all skills less than 8!
