You should go Gozag because the no-corpse drop really shuts down hellwings' Cigotuvi's Embrace.

You should use boots of running because the turns saved really help you cut down on permafood.

I know that's not the point, but hellwings lost Cigotivi's Embrace recently.

TSO is great because you can switch to Zin (to cure mutations) and Ely (to cure rot), without incurring penance!

This isn't that bad. For example if you want to play a melee character then getting weapon gifts is very good, regardless of the existence of heroism.

Why is this bad reasoning?

You should play Ogre because they get a strength boost every third level. ER is a non-isssue for them, so that makes them a very resilient species.

You should always value GDR over AC - after all, it's GUARANTEED. So yeah, that's why Ozocobu's is awful.

If you're playing potion roulette, you should drink the green ones first. Green means 'safe'. And if a potion of heal wounds is red, it's a trap.

Fire Storm is very powerful even with the RFire you're wearing, so be sure to get into melee with Cerebov quickly and cast Silence ASAP once you're there.

It's a good idea to start a thread with the obvious intent of bashing something someone else said in a different thread and out of context, because you have to prop up your ego somehow, right?

It feels more like an offshoot of something like this, not targeting a specific person.

Polearms are very useful weapons due to their reach letting you start attacking things in melee from further away, like centaurs and yaktaurs.

No, that's not why I made this thread. I made this thread because I was worshipping Gozag, noticed that hellwings couldn't cast Cigotuvi's Embrace, and thought "Man, it would be really fucked up if someone gave advice centered around that". Please don't make assumptions like this. That's very rude.

You should make GDA after you kill a gold dragon when you have a +0 CPA in inventory because resistances are better than AC,

You definitely don't need rPois, yes. Sometimes it's unreasonable to not stand in poison clouds but in those instances it's pretty much always possible to kill enemy that makes poison clouds and then quaff curing

You should always worship Xom; he is the only god that can gift food. Without food you lose the game by default, so that makes Xom the best god!

(Gozag is not good because you can't flay corpses for food and his food shops cost gold. Xom bread reations are FREE!)
