Why some people try mutation roulette. Happened while I was trying desperately to heal my character's hp in front of centaur, drinking unid'ed potions. I did survive the encounter, but died soon after.

Mutation roulette used to be a dumb idea few versions ago but now you can't get mutated by random dudes with a wand of polymorph and the game often gives you more than enough curemuts too.

I almost always do mutation roulette on most characters simply because mutations are fun. (Also mutations are like the only source of clarity nowadays aside from Ashenzari)
