I played through like a half of it. Was pretty fun, I especially liked that time travel level, kind of like Wormhole from TNT, but better done. I'm not nearly good enough to pistol-start those levels though, they're brutal.

Yeah, like I said before it is my favorite wad all-time. Arrhy you should also do the single-level wad the Cyriak made, The Eye (that's a nice review with a download link). Just one level, although it's longer than any level in Going Down with high attention to detail and has a lot of nice fights.

Also check out Plutonia 2 (Bloodwall, map 28, is one of my all-time favorite maps), Scythe (Dime does a speedrun of this at a GDQ), and Speed of Doom (probably the coolest Icon of Sin/level 30 fight I've seen in a WAD). Those are all pretty high difficulty and have some great level concepts.
