Let Xom Chaos brand armour.

Xom should be allowed to chaos brand armour. Chaos armor has a random chance on every hit taken of gaining any armour/shield brand for a turn*, including brands that wouldn't spawn on that gear. It additionally has a random chance to apply most of the "on-hit" effects from e.g. Ru, dismissal, minotaur ("Your +7 Chaos Platemail furiously retaliates!"), or to apply effects similar to the chaos weapon brand to you or the attacker.

*The armor should only be allowed to gain one brand a turn, to prevent using popcorn to keep defenses high. The brand should last until your action, to allow usage of e.g. archmage.

Random armor brands sound a lot less interesting than the possible effects from a chaos weapon. Possibly paralysing, hasting, confusing, berserking, etc is interesting and significant. Suddenly getting an extra pip of resist or higher spellpower for a turn is not very interesting.

Maybe it would be better if the chaos armor caused a random chaos-weapon effect on the attacker whenever they hit you.
