Bonapetit, God of Cooking

Why This Proposal:

- All the dcss tavern members are really looking forward to having even more new gods developed and enter the game (trust me on this)

- Cool thematic idea

- Provides unique cooking based playstyle. Focuses on temperatures, preparing meals (using immol and frozen to achieve after-kill effects), and timing rather than direct damage. Makes food less annoying.

Appreciates:

Being satiated or better

Depreciates:

Being hungry or worse

Limitations:

-Vampires, mummies can't join

0*:

-Gourmand intrinsic

-Fast metabolism 3 (hunger increases quick)

-Carnivorous and herbivore traits have no effects (spriggans can eat meat, felids can eat bread/fruit)

1*:

Foodsense: can detect food anywhere on map

Aperitif - Uncorks a delicious alcoholic beverage that stokes appetites. Chance to confuse nearby natural-holiness enemies, hunger increases by 25 per turn while active. Costs 1-2 piety, lasts 8 + (12 x invo/27) turns.

2*:

Gain rPois due to iron stomach

Frappé - Covers enemies in shaved ice, creating a chilly yet delicious dessert. Every enemy within 4 squares of the player is frozen (slow move speed and becomes a block of ice if killed). Costs 1-2 piety, 100-200 hunger.

3*:

Gain rSteam, you can take the heat and not have to get out of the kitchen

Marinate - Drenches enemies in a spicy-hot marinade, ensuring they will explode with flavor when prepared. Same effect as scroll of immolation. Costs 2-3 piety, 200-400 hunger

4*:

Gain rF+, aka man who can pick up hot pan with bare hands

Flambé - Douses enemies in flaming liquor, making an impressive culinary display. Line target, 3 tile range. Enemies are coverered in sticky flames, damage formula is same as sticky flames but using invo for spellpower. Costs 2-3 piety, 300-600 hunger

5*:

Gain rC+ from over exposure to the walk in freezer

Purée - Crushes enemies, and the ground into a smooth, creamy paste which impedes movement. Smite-targeted 3x3 square which damages all enemies by 20+40*(invo/27) and creates a smite targeted Leda's Liquifaction. Costs 4-6 piety, 400-800 hunger.

6*:

Soufflé - beats enemies into a soft, fluffy peak. All enemies in LoS are whisked in random directions, taking 10-20 damage if they collide into walls/each other. Effect lasts for 5+(5*invo/27) turns. Costs 6-8 piety, 500-1000 hunger.

you need something with cooking chunks in here, or is the chef god really let you go around eating raw meat?

I actually really like this god idea. Is this suppose to be a joke? Because I would be sad if it was.
