  Code:
115 Ghostbuster the Ruffian (level 4, -4/45 HPs)
Began as a Troll Berserker on May 7, 2016.
             Was a Believer of Trog.
Killed from afar by Rewedat's ghost (21 damage)
... with a spray of energy
... on level 3 of the Dungeon.
The game lasted 00:03:01 (1688 turns).

My D3 is now a Deathtrap because a few Conjurers died there. Not even my typical Ghostbusting character, a Troll Berserker can survive against them!

Dying to ghosts also busts ghosts eventually so you're doing excellent work as it is

Ghouls, mummies, and vampires don't leave ghosts...

aside from the ridiculous damage, monster dazzling spray confusing the player is just unnecessary and mean. it sure as hell doesn't confuse monsters

or! what if it just didn't give a status effect to players hit by it? unless you want to add player versions of sleep wary, insane, dazed, inner flamed...

If it was more commonly cast by mobs it might be worth making a status effect for it but as it stands only ghosts use it.

So... why let ghosts cast it? Living Cjs don't get confuse, why should dead ones? Not to mention, there's a good reason no monsters cast it, a multitarget spell isn't terribly useful when you're mostly trying to kill 1 character.

don't you get it? player ghosts should be as much like the dead player as possible, except when they shouldn't
