The elven twins - Duvessa particularly - shouldn't buff up until
they actually see the player; the player being nearby but invisible
shouldn't count.

In practice, this means duvessa will only spam cryptically condescending one-liners at you if you're visibly logged into the Tavern. Obviously this will lead to many Taverners adopting the practice of anonymously lurking their active threads, logging in only to post and then immediately logging out again. I'm sure the devs mods will roll this back once they realize that it encourages "optimal" but tedious behavior.

(but let's be honest, anonymous lurking is already the optimal way to tavern, amirite?)

well no, once you've posted duvessa will be alerted of your presence and react accordingly, if you go invisible again you will just get a penalty at snarky comments directed at you.

I've noticed a bug; although I'm still alive, Duvessa still regularly goes berserk. Also, Duvessa is still alive, yet I remain under the effects of brilliance at all times.
