New spell called game of death. Based on Conway's Game of Life.

level 9 necro or whatever

randomly spawns clouds of death (CoD) in your local vicinity. Anything in a cloud of death for 2 turns dies (or un-dies).

Clouds dissipate, remain or spread as per game of life.

I'd like to add that in the roguelike Angband there's a potion of death which is a *very* good reason not to quaff-id potions in this game.

Before I read this thread, I really hoped that it was a spell that took you to a mini-ziggurat where you had to fight successively more powerful martial arts masters, culminating with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar at the top.
