Why is there no high boss in tomb:3?
I started this topic in Game Design Discussion. I know that it doesn't fulfil the GDD principles, I was too lazy to make a detailed GDD proposal. However, the intention of my question/proposal was serious.
After a few responses the topic was moved to CYC and thus is no longer protected by GDD rules - very quickly followed by posts which are not really serious. I know it's my fault but... Mhmm, no but.
However, thanks to everybody with a serious answer.

As spectator I log in very often when there's the constellation player vs boss who guards the rune.
This means: slime:6, high pan lords, hells:7. These are nine places which are especially interesting to watch, no matter if the player fights the boss (most new players do this) or steals the rune (many experienced players do this).
I know that tomb is a bit of a special case, e.g. the layout has hardly changed over the years. But why is there no high boss? E.g. a slightly buffed Khufu who always guards the rune?
