God of dares!

This is a very raw idea that I came up with and have no intention on fully designign. Just wanted to throw it out here if it amuses some one.

When you worship this god, he will give you dares when entering new levels. You get to choose if you want to do it or not, but if you decline, he might get mad and force you to do it, or come up with an even more sinister dare. If you do complete it, you get piety and other rewards. If you feel brave, you can boast and upgrade the dare to be even more dangerous, which the god loves.

Dares could be something like this:
- Dive to floor XX in XX time.
- Fully explore this floor naked, armed with a stick (club), without spells, singing (causes noice), marked. etc
- Defeat this monster XX (spawns on the leve), with/without (add conditions like in previous suggestion)
- Hey, I dare you to step on that trap! (When you find a trap)
- Hey, I dare you to try and cast that spell (Known spell with high fail rate)

Boasts would be additional conditions you impose on the dare your self.

This is terrific, and could be extended to RL too:

- God dares you to complete a branch using only your left-hand for typing
- God dares you to complete the level with a mouth-full of sriracha
- God dares you to complete a portal branch with your monitor turned upside down

possibilities are endless!

FR: a portal that scrambles your keys and puts you in the midst of a ton of monsters, so that you have to type around trying to identify your z key only to find that your spells are scrambled too.

Flavor it so that the monsters dare you to do things, and your god dislikes it if you ignore dares. Popcorn monsters could (when other monsters aren't around) dare you to spin around in circles until you're dizzy (conf & vertigo) or just take a nap. Yellow monsters could dare you to drink !sick, !poision, !degen, etc. Red monsters could dare you to close an eye (--acc) or stab yourself with your curare needles. Uniques could drop !mut and dare you to drink it.

Mara could dare you to cast different buff spells nonstop for 3-4 turns and not take any upstairs for 50 turns. And if you don't take the dare you go under penance. Think of how fun it would be to fight a buffed version of yourself while you swiftness is wearing off.

Xom thinks the latest addition to the pantheon and his worshipers are hilarious!

Kinda, yes. I was thinking this would be more like Jackass personality, when Xom is purely insane.

This would be some honor system bullhonky come on now. There's only so crazy yiuf can get.
